130 "Where Do I Buy A Cobra?" - The Grizzly Bear Egg Café

The boys are back to talk everything that's on their mind this week.  Mike celebrates the life of one of his Chikara students who tragically passed away.  Clayton talks about moving out of New York City to someplace where snow drifts don't include piles of garbage.  The guys lament the fact that they wouldn't know where to buy a dangerous exotic animal.  And of course it's Movie Talk where we discuss the 1992 film 'Batman Returns.'

I had been wondering what "12 large, brother!" meant.

Well as kids you liked the film, as adults and more and more super hero films that are going for more and more realistic stuff, you hated the Tim Burton Film. You have valid points with the blueprints of the batmobile and a few other things. Yet this is a Tim Burton Film. He is all about stylization and suspension of disbelief. So I liked this better than the first Batman film by Tim Burton. OH... as for why the Penguin looked so over the top, Danny DeVito wouldn't play the role until he was made up in such a way that his children wouldn't recognize him. He didn't want to be seen as playing such a dark character by his kids... at least back then he was worried. I don't think I can watch any more of the Batman films until Batman Begins. The rest are just really bad...but I will enjoy listening to you talk about them.

I LOVE Mask of the Phantasm, I can't wait until next week.

Also, in listing Superman villains that would be better than Zod I didn't hear Brainiac mentioned. Did I miss it, or could you really have forgotten him?!? Brainiac would be the perfect Superman villain.

I also think Luthor needs to be involved in some way, even if he's not the main villain. I also think Clancy Brown should get the role, though I don't expect that.

Personally I was hoping for Parasite as the Superman villian. He's earth based and can give Superman a run for his money,

"Shiny happy people" is a pleasure but I wouldn't say it is a guilty one. My 7 and 9 year old kids love this song. It makes them happy.
